Pink Floyd: A Saucerful Of Secrets CD
After "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn", "A Saucerful Of Secrets" is Pink Floyd's second album. During the 1967/1968 recordings at Abbey Road Studios, the then Pink Floyd guitarist Syd Barrett was unfortunately no longer able to continue studio work at some point due to mental problems. The band was forced to look for a new guitarist: Jeff Beck was initially under discussion, but he proved to be too expensive. The choice finally fell on David Gilmour, a friend of the band. The last recordings for the album were made by Gilmour alone. The final separation from Syd Barrett took place in April 1968.
