Facelift is the first album by US rock band Alice in Chains, which was released on August 21, 1990 by Columbia Records. The tracks "We Die Young", "Man in the Box", "Sea of Sorrow" and "Bleed the Freak" were released as singles. "Man In The Box" was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance with Vocals in 1992.

Facelift was the first album of the grunge movement to go gold on September 11, 1991. The album peaked at number 42 on the Billboard 200 charts and reached platinum status after selling 2 million copies.
