When 'Queen' returned to the Forum Montreal (18,000 spectators) for the fourth time in 1981, the band had not been in Canada for 15 months. A lot had happened in those 15 months: 'Queen' became the biggest band in the world during this period. With The Game album and a major tour under their belt, Queen dominated the charts worldwide and even effortlessly opened up new continents with their music. They became a global phenomenon. America had fallen, 'Queen' played an incredible 46 sold-out concerts. Two singles from the album The Game (No. 1 album) were the band's biggest successes in the USA: Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Another One Bites The Dust (both No. 1 singles). In addition to North America, the whole of South America was of course also in 'Queen' fever. For example: in Sao Paulo's Morumbi Stadium, 'Queen' set a new record: 131,000 spectators on the first evening, 128,000 on the second evening. After the first tour in Argentina, 'Queen' occupied an incredible 9 positions in the Top 10 album charts there! Unrivaled! As John Deacon himself described it, in 1981 we discovered a new audience that we didn't even know existed.
