Deep Purple: 1 2LP

Featuring 13 new tracks, =1 is the band's first album with accomplished guitarist Simon McBride taking over from Steve Morse, who sadly had to leave the band in 2022 for personal reasons. The album is once again produced by the legendary Bob Ezrin, who helps to elevate the band's classic sound. The enigmatic title =1 symbolises the idea that the world continues to become more and more complex, but that everything can ultimately be simplified down to one unified essence. Everything = 1.

The new album is their first regular album of new material since ‘Whoosh!’ from 2020 - an album that reached #1 on the album charts in seven different countries and charted in the top 10 in 12 other countries.
