With "Van Weezer", one of the most creative and output-happy rock bands on the planet is back in 2021: Weezer.

In 2019 alone, the band led by Rivers Cuomo released two new albums: 'Weezer (The Black Album)' and 'Weezer (The Teal Album)'.

This year sees the release of album number 14: "Van Weezer". The title is an allusion to the band Van Halen, from whom Weezer were audibly inspired, as well as other heavy metal and hard rock icons from the 1970s and 1980s, such as Kiss, Black Sabbath and Metallica.

They already revealed what that sounds like with the first single "The End Of The Game". However, the riff-laden song with a retro vibe does not forgo Weezer's typical surf-pop-rock signature sound.
