For Guru, Yann Gozlan entrusted the soundtrack to electronic music producer CHLOE. Released on limited-edition vinyl, this score truly comes into its own, revealing a remarkably refined sonic composition. Initially minimal and controlled, the music mirrors the rigor and need for mastery of Matt Vasseur, the character played by Pierre Niney. Then, as the story unfolds, the textures fragment, distort, and intensify. Present almost continuously throughout the film, the music underscores the mental drift, solitude, and psychological tension of the narrative.
